What is IntimaLase™?
IntimaLase™ is a minimally invasive laser treatment for Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome and Vaginal Atrophy.
What is Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome?
Vaginal relaxation syndrome (VRS) is defined as laxity of the vaginal wall. It can result in loss of friction and sexual satisfaction for both a woman and her partner.
The condition is generally associated with overstretching of the vaginal canal during childbirth as well as with natural ageing.
What is Vaginal Atrophy?
Vaginal atrophy refers to the thinning of the wall of the vagina that often occurs post menopause due to the lack of oestrogen and is associated with dryness. Some of the symptoms of Vaginal Atrophy are....
  • Vaginal itching and irritation
  • Chronic vaginal discharge
  • Vaginal burning sensation
  • Ulceration of the vaginal mucosa.
  • Dyspareunia (difficult or painful intercourse)

How does IntimaLase™ work?
Non-ablative laser with proprietary "Smooth-mode" technology thermally affects the vaginal tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and the synthesis of new collagen fibers in the vaginal mucosa tissue and collagen-rich endopelvic fascia.
The final result of collagen neogensis and remodeling is thickening, rejuvenation and tightening of the vaginal canal.

Unique advantages of IntimaLase™
IntimaLase™ is a minimally invasive, incisionless and virtually painless procedure.  No cutting, bleeding or sutures, therefore recovery is exceptionally quick.

IntimaLase™ requires no anaesthesia, antibiotics or pain relief
IntimaLase™ is a safer, faster and more patient-friendly solution that avoids the undesirable complications present with other vaginal tightening methods.
IntimaLase™ is a walk-in/walk-out procedure with little to no downtime
